Frequently Asked Questions

Booking Process
Booking begins with the inquiry form on this site. Provide your event date, city, audience size, event type, and a short note about the outcome you want the keynote to deliver. Our team responds within twenty-four working hours with availability and an initial sense of fit. If the dates align and the event is a match, we schedule a fifteen-minute briefing call — usually with you or your event lead — to understand the audience, the strategic context, and the day's flow. From that conversation, we send a proposal covering the talk theme, duration options, and engagement terms. For urgent enquiries — events within the next four weeks — call or WhatsApp +91 99999 92266 directly, or note the urgency in the form, and we will fast-track wherever availability allows.
For peak corporate event seasons in India — typically January to March and September to November — we recommend booking eight to twelve weeks in advance. These months see heavy demand from annual days, sales kickoffs, and conferences, and the calendar fills early. For events outside the peak windows, four to six weeks is generally sufficient. For events less than four weeks away, contact us directly and flag the urgency — we will move quickly to confirm availability where possible. Some clients book a year ahead for marquee annual events; others book three weeks ahead and we make it work. The earlier the conversation begins, the more time we have for proper customisation, which is what makes a keynote land. Reach out as soon as you have a date in mind.
Within twenty-four working hours of receiving your form, our team reviews the request, checks availability against Dr. Mukesh Tyagi's calendar, and responds with an initial sense of fit. If the dates and event type are a match, we propose a short briefing call — typically fifteen minutes — to understand your audience, the strategic context of the event, and the outcome you want the keynote to drive. Based on that conversation, we send a detailed proposal covering talk theme, duration, format options, and engagement terms. Once you confirm, we move into the preparation phase: Mukesh prepares specifically for your audience, and our team partners closely with your event lead in the weeks leading up to the day. The entire process from inquiry to confirmation typically takes three to five working days for non-urgent bookings.
Yes — every confirmed engagement is governed by a clear, simple contract that protects both parties. The contract covers the engagement scope, the keynote date and duration, the fee and payment terms, travel and logistics arrangements, customisation deliverables, and the cancellation and rescheduling provisions. Contracts are typically signed within five to seven working days of proposal acceptance, and we provide the standard agreement template alongside the proposal so your legal and procurement teams have time to review. We are happy to work with your organisation's standard vendor agreement format where required, and we accommodate the documentation requirements of corporate, public sector, and educational institution clients. The intent of the contract is straightforward — clarity for both sides so that everyone can focus on what matters, which is delivering an exceptional keynote for your audience.
The full cancellation and rescheduling terms are detailed in the engagement contract, and we work to be reasonable and partnership-oriented in how we apply them. As a general principle: cancellations made more than thirty days before the event are handled with minimal penalty; cancellations closer to the event date carry progressively higher fees because the calendar slot can no longer be filled. Rescheduling — moving the engagement to a new date rather than cancelling — is treated far more flexibly, and where Mukesh's calendar allows, we usually accommodate a new date without significant impact on the engagement fee. Force majeure situations and genuinely unforeseen circumstances are addressed case by case in good faith. For the specific terms applicable to your engagement, the contract sent with the proposal is the authoritative reference.
The Talk
Yes — every Dr. Mukesh Tyagi keynote is built specifically for your audience and event. This is non-negotiable in his practice. After the initial inquiry and briefing call, he and his team spend dedicated preparation time understanding your organisation, your audience demographics, the strategic context of the event, and the outcome you want the talk to drive. Stories are selected to land with that specific room. References to your industry, your moment, and your priorities are woven in. He does not deliver the same talk twice. Event organisers consistently report that the talk they received felt as if it had been written for their company alone — because in important ways, it had been. This level of customisation is what separates a memorable engagement from a generic one, and it is what justifies booking a serious keynote speaker in the first place.
The most-booked format is a forty-five to sixty minute keynote — the natural fit for annual days, sales kickoffs, and conference plenary slots where the keynote is one element of a wider programme. For events where the keynote is the marquee element of the day, a ninety-minute keynote with thirty-minute moderated Q&A is increasingly popular and consistently produces the deepest audience engagement. For shorter formats — TEDx-style platforms, opening welcomes, or compressed agendas — twenty to thirty minutes is possible. For intensive engagements such as leadership cohorts or executive education programmes, a half-day workshop format extends the work into structured exploration. Every format is finalised in the briefing call after your initial inquiry, based on your audience size, event flow, and the outcome you want the keynote to drive.
The default is a pure spoken keynote — built around storytelling, presence, and the spoken word, not around a slide deck. This is a deliberate choice. Most corporate keynotes lose force the moment a slide appears behind the speaker; the audience's attention shifts from the speaker to the screen, and the talk becomes a narration of bullet points. Keeping the focus on the spoken word, the gesture, and the live moment is what makes a Mukesh Tyagi keynote feel cinematic rather than corporate. That said, for specific kinds of events — particularly subject-matter keynotes in the energy sector, or specialised industry conferences — limited visual support can be incorporated where it genuinely strengthens the talk. Music, lighting cues, and clean stage setup are encouraged. Heavy AV is generally not. The exact AV plan is finalised during the briefing call.
Yes — and many multi-day events book exactly this configuration. An opening keynote sets the intellectual agenda for the conference, framing the questions the programme will explore over the following days. A closing keynote consolidates the threads, lifts the audience above the operational detail of the sessions, and sends delegates home with a call to action and a line they will quote at the office on Monday. When Dr. Mukesh Tyagi anchors both ends of a conference, the talks are designed as a deliberate arc — the opening establishes themes, the closing returns to them with the resolution earned by the days in between. Bookings for opening-and-closing combinations should ideally be initiated eight to twelve weeks ahead to allow for the deeper preparation this format demands.
Yes — moderation and event hosting are formats Dr. Mukesh Tyagi takes on selectively, and his three-career background makes him a particularly effective choice for both. As a moderator, he brings the discipline of a live television panellist — the ability to manage time, draw out the strongest voices, push back where a panellist is being evasive, and synthesise threads into a clean closing summary. As a host or event anchor, his Bollywood-actor presence and corporate command of the room hold the event together across the full day. Hosting and moderation are typically booked as add-ons to a keynote engagement, or as standalone engagements for the right event. Indicate this need in your inquiry form or briefing call, and we will scope it specifically — the preparation requirements differ from a keynote and are reflected in the proposal.
Topics & Audience
Dr. Mukesh Tyagi has eight signature keynote topics drawn from his three-career experience: Leadership & Reinvention; Resilience & High Performance; The Power of Story in Business; India's Moment — Opportunity in the Age of Change; Reinventing Yourself at Any Age; The Art of Influence; Purpose-Driven Performance; and Leadership in the Energy Sector. Each topic is customised for the specific event, audience, and strategic moment — the eight above are starting points, not scripts. Every talk draws on the lived experience that no other speaker in India can match: a Bollywood filmography, twenty-five years inside Enron, Reliance, Essar, and Punj Lloyd, the role of Head of the IACC Energy Committee, and years as a National Television Personality.
Mukesh Tyagi speaks across the full range of Indian corporate and institutional audiences. Corporate Annual Days, Sales Kickoffs, Leadership Summits, and CXO Conclaves form the core of his engagement calendar — the senior, sophisticated audiences his three-career credential set was built to address. He is also a regular voice at College Convocations and university leadership forums, where his story of repeated reinvention resonates with audiences about to begin their own careers. Government and PSU events benefit from his command of policy and the energy sector. He is increasingly booked for TEDx platforms, major conference keynotes, and industry conventions across sectors including BFSI, pharma, IT, manufacturing, energy and power, real estate, FMCG, and consulting. From a fifty-person CXO retreat to a two-thousand-strong annual day, the format adapts; the substance remains the same.
Yes. Hindi is one of Dr. Mukesh Tyagi's native languages, and he delivers keynotes in Hindi, English, or a deliberate blend of both, calibrated to the audience. For audiences in the Hindi-speaking heartland — PSUs, manufacturing organisations, regional corporate events, and government engagements across the Hindi belt — a Hindi-medium keynote consistently produces deeper audience engagement than English alone. For metro corporate audiences, he often blends languages within the same talk, slipping between Hindi and English the way bilingual Indian professionals naturally do. The talk does not lose anything in translation between the two — because the same person who delivered the films, the boardroom presence, and the television panels is the same person delivering the keynote. Specify language preference in your inquiry form or briefing call, and the talk is shaped accordingly.
Yes. While the core of his engagement calendar remains in-person — keynotes are at their most powerful when speaker and audience share a room — virtual and hybrid formats are available where the event design requires them. For virtual-only events, he delivers from a professional studio setup designed for broadcast-quality audio and visual presence. For hybrid events with both in-person and remote audiences, the talk is structured to engage both rooms simultaneously, drawing on his National Television Personality experience of speaking to camera and audience at once. The engagement fee structure for virtual and hybrid formats differs from in-person engagements and is detailed in the proposal. Specify the format clearly in your inquiry form so we can scope the technical and preparation requirements accurately.
About Mukesh
Dr. Mukesh Tyagi occupies a position no other motivational speaker in India can credibly claim. He is the only mainstream Indian keynote speaker whose career spans three distinct and substantial chapters: a recognised Bollywood acting career in films like Page 3, Corporate, Fashion, Traffic Signal, and the Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster trilogy; twenty-five years of corporate leadership at Enron, Reliance, Essar, and Punj Lloyd, including the role of Head of the Energy Committee at the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce; and an established profile as a National Television Personality on India's biggest news channels. He brings the presence of a performer, the substance of a corporate leader, and the precision of a media voice — combined with academic credentials that include an MBA from the University of Strathclyde and a Gold Medalist LL.B. Most speakers theorise. He has lived it.
Mukesh Tyagi's filmography spans some of the most acclaimed urban Indian cinema of his era. With director Madhur Bhandarkar, he featured in Page 3 (2005), the film that defined a generation's view of Mumbai's media and society circuits; Corporate (2006), one of Hindi cinema's most serious explorations of Indian boardroom life; Traffic Signal (2007), a study of the parallel economy of urban India; and Fashion (2008), a widely discussed examination of the Indian fashion industry. With director Tigmanshu Dhulia, he featured in the Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster trilogy — Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster (2011), Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns (2013), and Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 (2018) — widely regarded as one of contemporary Hindi cinema's defining feudal-power dramas.
Mukesh Tyagi's corporate career spans twenty-five years across some of the most consequential names in Indian industry, with a specialist domain in the energy sector. He has worked at Enron India during its most ambitious period in the country, at Reliance Industries during years of expansion, at the Essar Group across infrastructure and industrial portfolios, and at Punj Lloyd on large-scale project delivery in power, oil, and gas. His expertise extends across electricity, LNG, coal, wind, renewables, and nuclear power. He currently chairs the Energy Committee at the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce — a role that places him at the intersection of Indian business, government policy, and global energy markets. This corporate substance is what distinguishes a Mukesh Tyagi keynote from a generic motivational talk.
Fees & Logistics
Speaking fees vary significantly based on several factors: event type, audience size, format (keynote, workshop, moderation, virtual, hybrid), duration, location, customisation depth, and whether the engagement is part of a single or multi-event arrangement. Rather than publishing standardised rates that may not reflect your specific event, we provide a personalised quote in the proposal after the initial briefing call. This approach gives you a clearer and more accurate sense of the investment. For an initial sense of feasibility, share your event date, city, audience size, event type, and approximate budget range in the inquiry form, and our team will respond within twenty-four working hours. Reach us directly at +91 99999 92266 or mukeshwtyagi@gmail.com for any specific questions on fees and engagement structure.
Yes. While the majority of Dr. Mukesh Tyagi's engagements are within India, he regularly speaks at international events — most frequently in Dubai, where many Indian companies host their global offsites, and across the broader GCC and Southeast Asian markets where Indian corporate and diaspora audiences gather. He is also available for keynote engagements in the United Kingdom and the United States, particularly for India-focused conferences, university programmes, and corporate events serving Indian-origin leadership audiences. His combination of Indian cultural fluency and international corporate exposure — including his MBA from the University of Strathclyde and his work with multinational corporations across the energy sector — makes him equally effective with global and domestic audiences. For international bookings, plan for ten to twelve weeks lead time.
Standard technical requirements for an in-person keynote are straightforward: a professional wireless lavalier or headset microphone, clean stage lighting that places Dr. Mukesh Tyagi visibly without harsh backlight, and a sound system appropriate for the venue size. A confidence monitor showing time elapsed is appreciated but not essential. For venues above five hundred attendees, image magnification (IMAG) screens supporting a live camera feed strengthen audience engagement. Slides and visual decks are typically not used — keynotes are spoken — so projector requirements are minimal unless a specific subject-matter talk has been agreed otherwise. For virtual engagements, our studio handles broadcast specifications from our end. The final AV brief is shared with your event production team in the week before the engagement.
